A massive supercell thunderstorm, complete with striations and tiers indicating its violent rotation lumbers over the rolling hills and gravel roads of the rural Colorado plains near the town of Anton. This day was incredible, after spending most of the day in the car in frustration a last ditch effort led to us intercepting this storm at Last Chance, Colorado... with only a few minutes left prior to sunset. It gave me some of my favorite images to date.
